A little about me. 

Adarsh Goyal

Hi! My name is Adarsh Goyal. Since childhood, Ilove to talk and meet new people while gaining new experiences and learning new things. To be honest, I wasn't very good in academics but I was good in cocurricular activities and loves to explore new possibilities. I have good leadership qualities and because of that I served as School Pupil Leader (SPL) in St. Mary's English High School and was President of St. Mary's Interact Club (a Rotary-sponsored club).

As my favorite subject was computer science, I opted to do engineering in CSE from SJBIT, Bangalore. 4 years of college life have not only taught me computer science but also how to deal with every situation, pressure and work smart.

The interesting part was that I tried to focus a lot on marketing and sales by applying for an internship that was posted by OYO ROOMS. I didn't have any idea at that time what sales and marketing actually is but I tried my best, worked hard, and figured out how to generate leads, pitching them correctly and converting them to GMV. To my surprise, I won the Star Intern award for generating the highest GMV in May and June 2018. Though the internship was for 2 months, I was offered to continue beyond that and I generated more than 4 Lakh GMV during my internship tenure.

From that moment:

- I worked with BookMyShow for the 2019 ISL Event in Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore.
- Worked with IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, ISM Dhanbad, and DTU.
- I was invited as a delegate at an IIT Delhi event where some selected people can meet the CEO of Uber- Mr. Dara Khosrowshahi.
- I was also among the few selected Indian delegate for Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) event in Malaysia.
- I have worked with Paytm Mall as a Campus Ambassador, Smaaash as a Campus Representative, Viacom18 as a Chief Entertainment Officer (CEO), and Viral Fission as a Youth Ambassador.

My first company as a full-time employee was Lemonop, a freelancing platform for GenZ where I was working as a Sales and Marketing Executive and which helped me gain experience in sales, marketing, and operations.

At present, I am working with Scopify AI,  a B2B lead gen company as a Sr. Account and Operations Manager.
